CC3301: Assistance Required with Adding a New GATT Service using bluetoothctl

Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently working on adding a new BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) service to a peripheral device using the bluetoothctl tool from the BlueZ suite. Based on recommendations, I have been attempting to use the menu gatt commands. However, I am facing issues in correctly adding the new service.

Here are the steps I followed:

  1. Started bluetoothctl with superuser privileges.
  2. Entered the menu gatt mode.
  3. Attempted to add a new service using the relevant commands.

Please find attached the log file detailing the commands used .

Could you please provide guidance or point out any potential mistakes in my approach?
