CC3230SF: Flash programming Interface question

I have additional questions. Why are all the five lines in the picture shorting or connecting to the same TP1?

Not sure what version of the DS you have but it should be all different test points.

Just to elaborate, for programming with Uniflash, you need to use UART lines which are GPIO01 and GPIO02. In addition, you need the reset line and the two SOP lines. Not sure what the isolation message refers to but I assume it refers to the fact that the same UART lines may be used for terminal or connecting to another processor as well. So if you need at some point to connect to the device (e.g. technician mode) and reprogram it, the test points need to be available and de-attach ed from their usual purpose.

To answer your question above, please refer to page 79 of the datasheet. I have attached a zoomed screenshot of the message I'm referring to.

What I mentioned is as above, since these lines have double purpose, first as direct programming via the bootloader and second as regular UART connection. So if you do use it for your own purposes, you need to make sure that these lines are available for programming if needed.

Sorry, im not understanding your statement. Could you please explain? Do I need to use it for double purpose, or do I need to choose between direct programming or UART?

basically, let's assume that you want to flash your final product using Uniflash and also after the device is deployed, you want to use the same UART lines to connect to another MCU. In this case, you need some kind of jumper settings to select between the two options. This is what we have on the LaunchPad. I believe this is what was meant with the isolation remark.

Hope it is clearer. Not sure how to explain differently.
