Tool/software:

1) I want to keep at least two GPIO lines in their original state during MCU hibernate mode. is it possible ?

2) Please see the attached picture below. What does 2 × 32-bit general-purpose retention registers mean? Is it a specific GPIO? If yes, what are the GPIOs involved?

Hi,

I think these registers can be used for RTC or for your own purpose. There is no relation to GPIO.

Hi Pragash,

1) Yes it's possible, you can configure GPIOs according to your choice during MCU hibernate mode. 2) As Jan has mentioned, these 2 registers are not GPIOs, but primarily used to retain data when the MCU enters low-power modes, such as hibernate mode.

on question 1, I have been reading the swru543a you shared for a few days. I can only find a few GPIOs that can be used as a wake-up source when the MCU is on Hibernate mode. Nothing more! You are saying yes to my question 1 above. Does this mean we can retain the wake-up source GPIOs as high during hibernate mode?

Yes, you should be able to do that.
Keep in mind that these GPIOs are still sensitive to edge transitions for waking up the MCU.
