Hi AB,
After testing for some time, we found that the most basic Wi-Fi connection function of the R5 version cannot meet our requirements!
The communication rate is also not guaranteed.
Our tests have shown that the ping rate is consistently at 100ms.
Such a high latency makes it impossible to use this chip in our project!
By the way, is this chip widely used by many companies?
Thasks,
Gavin
Hi Gavin,
Just a comment from my side, meanwhile you are waiting for a answer from TI.
I am not expert for CC33xx devices, but according experiences with other TI devices, such high ping likely means that WiFi power save mode is enabled. I found this thread about disabling power save mode at CC3351.
