It is my understanding that we have a partial implementation of support for 802.11R on WL18xx devices. Can we provide any more detail on what this partial support is in terms of what features ARE and ARE NOT supported?

Hi Luke,

You are correct in that we don't support 802.11R but we have our own proprietary implementation. You can find information about how it works in the WL18xx Features Guide, section 4.15:

Thanks for the clarification. I am assuming we won't but to make sure, do we have any plans to support it in the future for WL18?

Hi Luke,

No, there are no current plans to implement new features on WL18x. However, 802.11 K/V/R is supported on CC33xx.
