CC3235MODSF: What means the channel mask?

Part Number: CC3235MODSF

Tool/software:

Hello,

I'm trying to change the RSSI threshold with wlanset AT command.

Before that, I checked the RSSI threshold with wlanget AT command.

The response is below.

+wlanget:0x1fff,0xffffffa1

The RSSI threshold is -95 and I can change it.

What means the channel mask 0x1fff?

Is it Ok to use the same value to change RSSI threshold?

Thanks,

Calvin

  • Hi,

RSSI threshold is the level of detection of APs during scan. -95dBm practically means you want to get all APs, regardless of their signal strength.

the channel mask denoted what channels to scan. the default is all 13 channels of 2.4GHz band (bitwise) and if you want to remove some channels, you can do it via the mask.
