Hi guys.

I am using the CC2564C and at this moment I am working to enable the Hands-Free feature in my product. I have already done a question regarding the AG echo cancellation feature and now I have a question regarding the phone book name of a call that can be sent throught the HFP.

After querying the call list, I saw that the AG can send the phone book name ("PhonebookName" of "HFRE_Current_Call_List_Entry_t"). I am receiving this information when connected in a IOS, but I am not receiving when connected in a Android. Do you know if this is normal? I have already implemented the PBAP and I can match the number with the phone book to show the correct phone book name, but would be better to get directlly from HFP if possible.

Hi Jose,

I have not heard of this discrepancy between android and iphone before. The best thing that would help see the differences between the phones BT stacks would be air sniffer logs using a BT sniffer like an elisys (however these can be very expensive if you dont have access to one). Another thing that could be helpful would be to take FW logs from the CC2564C using logger

From here you can see what data is being sent back to the controller and try to see the differences between the phones.
