BP-CC3301: How to get fw log through uart.

As I know there is a logger pin on BP-CC3301 board, which can be used to track and debug the CC3301.

I used this pin, and configured the uart baudrate to 3M, but I got some abnormal prints. My question is how can I use this pin to get normal firmware logs?

Hi Yuan,

The logger output is not human readable format. You must use 'Logger Tool' within the simplelink wifi toolbox to interpret these logs. We have documentation within the tool on how to get this set up:

I have tested simplelink-wifi-toolbox, but when Wireshark Starts and Displays an Error Window, How to Resolve This Issue.

I changed wlogger_dissector.lua file, and it will not display Error Window.

local proto_name = "wLogger2"
local proto_description = "wLogger2 Protocol"

But, the opened wireshark only get one package, no more data, so what's problem with it?

Hi Yuan,

I would not recommend changing the lua code. Can you please try deleting the lua file and then installing it again?

A new file can be installed with the windows command shown in the Toolbox browser.

I still can't get the right log with wireshark, simple-link-wifitoolbox.exe print following error message. can you help?
