CC3501E: Low Power / Sleep Mode Details

Part Number: CC3501E

Tool/software:

Dear team,

As the part is still in Preview stage, we wanted to know some information.

1. Is there a Low Power / Sleep Mode available for whole MCU?

2. If yes, how many pins are wake-up capable?

3. What is the expected sleep current?

Thank you.

  • Hello Mayur,

I am gathering this information for you.

Please give me a couple of days.

  • Mayur,

The power modes are similar to the cc32xx devices. Either the m33 is active, or asleep. When it's asleep the sleep current depends on the memory retained in the internal ram.

I am not sure how many GPIO are wake up capable. My first guess is all GPIOs but I am talking to the designers and getting this information for you.

We have some preliminary sleep number simulation numbers, but no measurements yet. The measurements for sleep current should be ready for datasheet by end of December, that's when we are aiming for a datasheet update

  • Hello AB,

Thanks for the update. I'll wait for the data about the number of pins which are wake-up capable Slight smile
