Hello,

I want to setup an UniFlash project and create an image via CLI / dslite. We use a 8 MB flash on our CC3220SF application. In the uniflash GUI it is possible to setup the "Capacity" in Advanced->General->Settings. But I couldn't find any information how to set up this value via CLI!? I think it should be possible via the reconfiguration json file and the reconfig option. But there is no parameter that could set the flash capacity. How is it possible to set that parameter via CLI?

Because at least the image creation fails with "Error: Total size of files + the programming image exceeded the storage size"

Hi,

I don't think the reconfig has this option.

What I am not following here is why can't you set the capacity from GUI? if you use CLI to create an image, you need to specify the project name that you create via the GUI.

Hi Shlomi,

thank you for your response.

We want to create and version everything for our build server in a reproducible and automated way via the console. It is also possible, for example, to create a project via the console and name it: project new --name NEW_PROJECT_NAME. So there is no need for using the GUI.

Hi,

I double checked with the reconfig option and setting the size of the serial flash is unfortunately not supported from CLI.

I guess the best workaround here would be to edit the json file and introduce the right value as part of the automated process (just make sure what are the right numbers by manually modify it in GUI and test the generated values).
