CC3351: iPerf3 reliability issues

Part Number: CC3351

Tool/software:

This customer is using the BDE CC3351 module

The customer is experiencing some issues with CC3351 reliability. We're running an iperf3 server between the board and a laptop to stress test the Wifi communication, and found that it often fails after 10-20 hours of use. The board stops pinging, and restarting the interface leads to "Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt" and "failed to remove key (0, 80:69:1a:38:d5:ff) from hardware (-11)" errors.

I had them update to the latest SDK version (1.0.0.8) and that was able to resolve the interrupt timeout error and the interface can now be restarted successfully, but there are still outstanding issues where some boards running the cc3351 fail after a few iperf3 test cycles - one symptom is that the ping latency gets extremely high before failing, in the 1-2 second range.

I had them run iw wlan0 link on their device and am sharing the results below. It seems within the normal bounds of operation and nothing is calling to me as an issue here. They are running this in the same test conditions as the WiLink parts they previously used, and are within 5m of their access point.
