CC3551E: I2S TRM/library support

I'm wanting to use the I2S peripheral in the CC3551E. The TRM I have has only a reference to the peripheral, but no actual data/description. Syscfg doesn't offer any drivers nor can I see evidence of one in the SDK.

When is it expected this information will become available?

Hello Russell,

The CC3551E will support I2S in future releases, this peripheral is not open to customer use yet.

This is why it's not described in the draft TRM yet, or supported by SW (sysconfig/drivers).

It should be supported by 3Q25.

The CC3551E device is still under development, when it becomes production ready later this year it will have all of the features enabled.
