We would like to integrate the WLAN and Bluetooth drivers from CC33XX software 1.0.0.8 into our TQ-Systems TQMa67xx/MBa67xx Yocto BSP. We have applied the patch from https://github.com/TexasInstruments-Sandbox/cc33xx-linux-mpu-ports/ to ti-linux-6.12 to make Bluetooth work, however the only matching firmware files we can find are provided as part of the CC33XX-SOFTWARE package.

Would it be possible to add the new version to https://git.ti.com/cgit/cc33xx-wlan/cc33xx-fw/, so we don't have to redistribute these files ourselves to fetch them in a Yocto recipe?

Out of curiosity, how are you distributing your conf.bin file? That is tied to the firmware version and lives beside it. Are you relying on the one from TI or providing your own?

For our reference/starterkit BSP, I'm thinking about relying on the TI version, like the cc33xx-fw recipe in meta-ti-extras does. For actual products, placing the binary conf file directly in the Yocto layer might be the simplest solution, but the details would only be decided when such products are developed.

Thanks for your note. I just pushed out the firmware from 1.0.0.8 release (FW 1.7.0.237) to the cc33xx-fw git repo. Let us know if you have issues.
