CC2530: Recompile Firmware Issues

Hi,

My customer is currently using a CC2530 module and attempting to to make modifications to the Zstack ZNP with SBL firmware provided from TI's website with the latest version of the IAR embedded workbench for 8051. However, the firmware has been unable to compile the changes that they need to interface the 2530's UART (9600 baud, no flow control).

Are there any initial recommendations you can make? I will also see if there's any additional technical details they can share.

We may need to not use the latest version. From my own experience with the CC2544 and using its examples provided I needed to use a very specific, and old version of IAR in order for the examples to compile without errors; when I tried to use a modern IAR with the old examples many errors appeared.

(*the IAR version I used should be 9.30.1. the one from 2016)
