CC3200: does cc3200 support ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 cipher

Tool/software:

i am using ssl code to connect to sever and using CC3200SDK_1.5.0 does this version support ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 cipher ?if not then what should i do

This cipher is not supported by CC3200 devices. For more details see this thread.

so when I am trying to connect with server which uses ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 cipher using cc3200 the cc3200 will throw an error that is #define SL_ESEC_PROTOCOL_VERSION (-370) /* ssl/tls alerts */

Hi,

CC3200 doe not support this cipher, that means you will not be able connect to server which requires this cipher.

CC3200 supports only these ECDHE cipher:

ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256
ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256
