CC3235MODAS: Wi-Fi function review

Part Number: CC3235MODAS
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH,

Tool/software:

HI,

I am considering connecting it to the MSP430F5659IPZ to achieve wifi functionality.

We are considering a configuration that can be easily developed without the labor required for firmware development.

When developing using TI's wifi module, is the below configuration the easiest?

Write the official TI AT command firmware to the CPU built into the CC3235MODAS using Uniflash and control the Wi-Fi yourself.Use MSP430F5659IPZ as an external CPU and send AT commands via UART (communication only).

If there is anything that can be easily developed using a TI wifi module with the MSP430F5659IPZ as the main CPU, please let me know the model number, etc.

Also, if I use a Wifi module that does not have an internal CPU with the MSP430F5659IPZ, what is the load on the communications stack?
Would it be okay if I used a Wifi module with a built-in stack?
