CC3235MODASF: TCP Windows Update for flow control

Part Number: CC3235MODASF

Tool/software:

Hello.

I develop our puroduct implemeted CC3235MODASF.

When our product communicates TCP packet with peer device,

"TCP Window Update" is sent sometime.

What is trriger timing to send for "TCP Window Update" ?

Can I stop to send "TCP Window Update" ?

Please find attched Wireshark log image.

Our product: 192.168.0.1

Peer device :192.168.0.5

Additional,

because wireshark adds TCP Window update to log,

my quetion is changed.

The TCP sequence is below.

Modbus/TCP: Our product -> peer device

TCP ACK: Our product <- peer device

TCP ACK: Our product -> peer device

Why CC3235MODASF send to ACK for this sequence?

Best regards,

Okazaki

  • Hi,

Hard to tell just from this capture.

Do you have the full sniffer? is this sniffer capture is an air sniffer?

I am asking because the reason I am thinking of is related to not getting ACK frame on Wi-Fi layer from the peer device so your device simply resends the Wi-Fi frame which happens to be the TCP ACK.
