Tool/software:

Hi team,

Customer is currently using the M2-CC3351 module with their IMX8MP processor running Linux Kernel 6.1.131. We had shared that the patches needed to get them up and running were within the CC33xx SDK and to follow the steps at this link which share specific steps for setting them up.

After doing so, they are still running into issues in bringing the module up and shared the following error logs:

medos64:/sys/kernel/debug$ dmesg | grep -i "wlcore"
[ 7.298244] wlcore: cc33xx_probe :: Start
[ 7.314004] wlcore: Wireless Driver Version 1.7.0.114

[ 68.575776] cc33xx_driver cc33xx.2.auto: Direct firmware load for ti-connectivity/cc33xx-conf.bin failed with error -2

Could you please provide some thoughts on what may be incorrect in their setup and any next steps?

Best,

Luke
