CC3301MOD: clock input from processor

Hello Team, 

can you help on the following question: 

On a related note regarding the CC3301Mod, We see that in the reference schematics, a special part is used to generate the RTC reference clock.

 

 

Could you let me know of any in-line issues if we provide that CLK just as a frequency output from a processor pin?
