CC3351: Rated RF output power specification in datasheet

Hello TI,

I have another question regarding the maximum rated transmitter power listed in the datasheet.

In the CC3351 datasheet, the maximum transmitter powers for different modulations are listed for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz in tables 6.7 and 6.9, respectively.

A couple points of clarification:

1. Are the maximum output powers listed in the table the maximum powers that the internal PA in the CC3351 can transmit as measured at the CC3351 IC RF pin?

2. Are the maximum output powers listed in the table the maximum powers that the CC3351 can remain EVM and spectral mask compliant? Or is it less than this?

1. Yes, this is the value measured at the IC RF pin.

2. Yes, these are the maximum powers that remain compliant with IEEE standards including EVM and spectral mask.
