Hi there,

We are currently using the ESP32-WROVER-IE-N8R8 Wi-Fi module (2.4GHz, 1x1, BT 4.2+EDR) in our product. We're looking for a potential replacement from TI.

Could you please recommend a suitable TI solution? Ideally, it should:

Support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth,
Be suitable for automotive applications or have IMDS certification,
Support AT command interface (or allow for similar control).

It would be better if the module includes a connector for an external antenna.

Hello Scofield,

A module based on our CC3501E chipset can be a good solution considering AT command interface would mean all the networking and TLS are running inside the Wi-Fi chip. I would recommend you to reach out to your local TI sales representative to discuss the project requirements and roadmap for modules based on this chipset.
