CC3351: We want to integrate this chipset for our upcoming IOT gateway. Need guidance on few points

Hi, I am Hassan from Blaze Automation Pvt Ltd., Hyderabad India.

We are exploring all possible options to integrate a new wifi module/chipset for our IOT gateway and believe your CC3351 is a good fit. Need answers for below questions.

1. We want to add it to our gateway that would use NXP iMX9 or imx 8M Mini series chipset, running kernel 5.15 or higher and Linux Yocto(4.0 or higher). Can you share the relevant driver files for my requirement?

2. Does the chipset come with built-in firmware, or do we need to flash firmware first before loading the driver file for communication?

3. Share links to other relvant files, datasheets, ordering info docs, technical support forum page for this chipset, etc

Our device works with any host platform and we already have a guide on how to get it working with both iMx9 and imx8.

2. The device is a RAM based device and it needs the firmware to be loaded at bootup everytime. The driver takes care of this for you. no need to worry about it.
