LP-EM-CC35X1: Matter lighting app demo becomes unresponsive

Hello,

I noticed that after running the matter lighting app demo for a while the CC35xx goes unresponsive in homekit and I see no additional logs printed to the UART console of the device.

This has happened twice and it seems like each time it has stopped after the same log message, but I see this message repeated throughout the application while it's running, so not sure what exactly I'm seeing that's an issue.

Attached are the logs from boot until crash. Any thoughts/ suggestions are welcome! Has this been seen before? I would say the demo was running for less than 30 mins, and my AP still registers the CC35xx as connected despite the demo being unresponsive and it's been several minutes.

    I noticed for my setup that I had to use the power from the XDS110 as well as the power from the USB-C connector that is on the launchpad. If not, I would get commissioning issues. Are you using both power supplies?

  • Hey Sabeeh,

    I was trying this with just the XDS110 power connected, but I did use a USB-C to USB-C PD cable. I didn't see any issues with commissioning, but I'll try again with both supplies connected and see if that changes anything.
