WiFi throughput issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3715

Hi,

I am doing a WLAN throughput test as described in the link.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP35x_Wireless_Connectivity_AM3715_Demo#WLAN_Throughput_test

My EVM is a AM3730 EVM from Mistral.

My Wi-Fi module is from LSR TiWi-02.

I am getting a throughput of around 15 Mbits. [PFA screen shot]

My aim is to get a throughput of around 30Mbps.

How can I achieve this? Should I make them module work in 802.11n mode? If yes, please let me known the steps.

Else, let me know any other optimizations to be done to achieve 30Mbps throughput.

Best Regards,

 NVS Shastri

  • Hi Shastri,

There are couple of configuration options to allow 11n and aggregation.

However, radio calibration and RF calibration is even more important.

Can you please send me a WLAN sniffer log so I can see what can we do?

    Thanks,

    Elad.
