Hi All,

We have successfuly integrated TI WL1271 module to Sitara AM37X Evaluation Module (EVM) (Win CE 6.0 R3)from Mistral for developing a handheld device.Existing Win ce 6.0 driver is used .Any idea about the following.

1.Does the existing Win CE 6.0 driver for WL1271 support AP mode and Ad-Hoc mode.

2.Also planning to migrate to Win Ce7.0.Does an embedded compact7 driver for WL1271 or will be available this year?

1. No. It doesn't support AP mode. IBSS (Ad-hoc) is supported. See OID: OID_802_11_INFRASTRUCTURE_MODE.

Jithendran,

TI does not have any plans to offer WINCE 7.0 for WL1271 broadly.

Please note that the WINCE 6.0 Driver is a 3rd Party deliverable. Please contact Mistral directly for any support or questions related to this driver.
