CC3135MOD: I/F connection and software for CC3135 and CC335x

Part Number: CC3135MOD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3135, CC3350, CC3351,

Hi TI experts,

My customer is finding appropriate Wi-Fi companion IC that is hosted by MCU.

And then, I would like to ask you three questions about CC3135 and CC335x.

Q1. CC3135 adopts just only SPI or just only UART to communicate with host IC, doesn't it? (ref: swru455 )
But SWPA231 notes CC3135 must connect with host IC via UART for FS programming.

Is File System programming mandatory for CC3135 design, or just for the first development?

Q2. Don't Companion ICs, like CC3350, need embedded programming itself?

Q3. Does CC3351 support not UART but SPI  for Wi-Fi?
Whereas, it supports not SPI but UART for BLE, right?

Thank you for your assistance in advance.
