hello all,
I was wondering if we can use the card on Linux based host machine (X86) for kernel level developments?
It will handy do do any kernel level coding, recompile the kernel for host (i.e. x86) and jsut see if the changes work. After one is sure things work on hos, then go in for cross compilation for ARm & load it to the EVM for further testing.
This might save time on configuring and troubleshooting.
I use AM37x and see that it takes lot of efforts to make sure a newly compiled kernel image is okay. For some reasons, I haven't yet been able to boot up the board from NFS.It will create me a problem in uboot setting or the IP assigned to the board will be just flushed off.
Any help in how this kind of development would be easier would be really appreciable. I will not be doing any application development and it will majorly on Kernel & WLAN Device driver.
Thanks, Kedar
