fwlog on the wl12xx

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1271

I am attempting to use the wl12xx with an SDIO driver I have developed

I get an error  "Scan completed due to error" from wl12xx

I see that wl12xx_read_fwlog_panic is called

and I do have a fwlog file in /sys/devices/plaform/wl1271/fwlog

how do I interpret the content of fwlog to make sense of what is going on???

thanks for your help

Bernard

  • Hi Bernard,

There is a toll to parse the fwlog, however it is used for firmware development, and since the firmware is not open source only NDA customers may get that tool.

Please send me the log you got and the firmware version (you can see it just after ifconfig wlan0 command) and I will see if there is a meaningful information in it

    Regards,

    Eyal
