Part Number: WL1837MOD
We are using the wl18xx driver on a Linux system, currently Linux 6.6 with all relevant Wilink 8.9 patches as well as latest firmware 8.9.1.0.2. My test mesh is 13 devices. Initially it is all good, but after 10-20 hours, things starts falling apart:
- Established PLINKs just stops working. mesh_link_probe in wpa_cli works just fine. Everything "looks" good, but when trying traffic (such as ping), delivery simply fails and after a few seconds "iw mpath" indicates that another link has been selected. When looking at /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/netdev:wlan0_mesh/stations/*/last_seq_ctrl, I can see that the sequence number no longer increases.
- SAE authentication for new peers fails, even though password is correct etc.
Please advice.
