Hi,

How can a host differentiate between WL1271 and WL1273L? Both give the Chip ID 0x4030111 during initialization. Is this correct?

Is there a table that can be provided for the IDs of all variants?

Is there any other command for interrogating the chip for its exact version?

Hi Magnus,

There isn't any difference in the WLAN core. Use the version-id of the BT module.

Hi Magnus,

Please find the chip ID list below:

For Trio family (127x) the chip ID depends on the PG (chip revision)

PG1.0 = 0x4030101

PG2 / 3 / 3.32 / L = 0x4030111

As for the "L" postfix it is related to the Bluetooth support only and can be read through the UART, and cannot be accessed via the SDIO.
