About "Automatic Channel Selection" of WLAN

Hello,

I'm using the SDK of "OMAP Wireless Connectivity OpenSource WLAN".

I want to use "Automatic Channel Selection" in hostapd.

Can the wl12xx driver support "Automatic Channel Selection"?

hostapd patches to support the "Automatic Channel Selection", is there?

    Hi,

    The current SDK release does not support Automatic Channel Selection in SoftAP mode, I now there is discussion on that in the wl12xx Open source community and there might be even patches, however please note that not all chipsets will work well since there is a HW requirement to be able to receive the Radar channels (and then switch channels accordingly)

    Hi,

    it will not work with wl1273, and there are plans to support that with future chipset however i don’t have concrete schedule
