CC3000 Shutdown and Modulation Questions

We are looking at the CC3000 and I have a few quick questions about the product

1. How long does it take for the device to come out of shutdown mode?

2. Is CCK the only modulation scheme it supports?

    asicman,

    1) Approximately 700ms including association + 50 to 100ms more depending if DHCP or Static IP are used. After that, sockets can be manipulated

    2) CC3000 has an 802.11bg radio and therefore supports OFDM as well.
