Is the WL1271L 100% backward compatible with WL1271 ?

Will my existing non-BLE bluez stack and application code which works with the WL1271
also work with no changes on the WL1271L ?

(Are the WLAN sections of the WL1271L and WL1271 identical ?)

Stuart,

From the BT perspective, the BT stack will work the same way. The only required changed is the BTS file, which is different.

I am checking with the WLAN team and they will provide you an answer from the WLAN side.
