CC3000+FRAM Basic WiFi Application

Hi.

When I use the IAR Embeded Workbench IDE(5.40.3) to debug the CC3000+FRAM Basic WiFi Application , Typing the command，for example 02 03 06 04 and so on. Everything is normal, I can receive some data from FRAM Board with CC3000. But, When power off, then power on ,that is exit the debug mode. then I type the same command ,the board does not have any reaction, LED8 is always off, Why?

May i know how you got data ? i am using CCS5.

I am unable to connect to AP using 08 command and all.

Please do help

Hi,

There is a known issue with the Basic WiFi Application UART mode: on the current version the UART interface works only in debug mode.

This will be fixed in the next release but in the meantime you can change the code yourself if you wish.

At basic_wifi_application.c, main():

Please replace this line:

__bis_SR_register(LPM3_bits + GIE);

With this line:

__bis_SR_register(LPM2_bits + GIE);

This line I have changed but how to run in debug mode. I get illegal command for every number i type from 01 to 08...

I didn't understand your questions.

Can you run in debug mode? Before or after the line change?

Are you able to see UART prints after the line change with non-debug mode?
