I noticed that the WiLINK 8 product line has a 2x2 MIMO. Is there anything in production right now that can do this? I was unable to find any info on the LSR TiWi 5 datasheet about this.
Thanks in advance. Customer is interested in 802.11n + BT.

Hi Amy,
I see MIMO for the WL18xx chipset, but not for the WL1271: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/SISO/MIMO_concepts .
As well, there is a WiLink8 demo, and in the kit is a procedure for how to switch from the WL127x to the WL18xx: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Am335x_evm_WiLink8_demo_A2_07 . From this I infer the WL127x cannot be used in a MIMO environment.

Hi Amy,
That is correct, 1271 doesn't support MIMO but only SISO at 2.4GHz 20MHz channel. WL1835 is the new silicon chip with WiFi and BT at 2.4GHz that supports MIMO 2x2 20MHz or SISO 40MHz.
