We're using the WL1283 on a project. I'm looking to obtain information regarding this SoC. We're using this module with an OMAP AM3703 MPU.

I'm looking for:

- which linux drivers to use for WiFi
- what Bluetooth specifications are supported (v2.1, v4.0, low-energy, etc)
- what Bluetooth profiles are supported
- which linux drivers to use for Bluetooth

I've searched the TI website, but have had difficulty finding any pertinent information.

I can at least tell you that Bluetooth 4.0 is supported with WL1283, which also means BLE is supported. As far as Linux resources go, I've pasted a link for the corresponding page for WiLink 6, which details that that everything is included in the NLCP package.

While I research the WiLink 7 software support, could you answer a couple of questions:

(1) What is the host processor that is running Linux?

(2) Do you know what Bluetooth profiles you're looking to support? If not, what is the application? If you know the application, I can provide a list of what supported profiles would be related to the application.
