Hi,

Thanks for your response.We want to evaluate MSP-EXP430FR5739 Experimenter Board and CC3000EM evaluation module.My question is how we connect these two boards together as these are two seperate boards?

If we buy these two boards then do they come with a connector cable ?

please advise.

The MSP-EXP430FR5739 board has sockets for the CC3000EM.

You can plug it directly on the board without cables.

Hi,

Accroding to TI Website it says that shipping time is 2 - 4 weeks for CC3000EM module.Can you please advise how can we get it sooner like within few days after ordering.We are based in lahore ,Pakistan.

TI-Website says 24-48 hours, plus the shipping time to you.

Thanks for your reply.just wanted to confirm that I can use USB debugger/programmer part number

msp-fet430uif with this experimental board. right ?

Do I need any other hardware tool to start playing with this wi fi evaluation set up ?

Hi Nabeel,

from the MSP-EXP430FR5739 website:

The MSP430FR5739 device on the experimenter board can be powered and debugged via the integrated ezFET, or via TI Flash Emulation Tool, like the MSP-FET430UIF.

You don't need additional hardware to start playing.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for clarification.Also would like to know if I can make a simple message sending application over UDP sockets assuming its possible to make socket connections and send messages from this wi fi board to a server application runing on a PC.? how about sending emails ?

UDP should work in the latest version of the software (v1.11).
