Basic Wi-Fi example application for Launchpad - cannot start it

I am using the EVM and launchpad G2. I have loaded the Patch Programmer Installer and ran it so both driver and firmware are loaded. I also waited 30 seconds after each. I then set up Hyperterminal as instructed and removed power from the boards. I then re-powered them but got nothing on the screen. It refers to a Stellaris board but also says that the first digit refers to which MCU is used. Can anyone help with suggestions?

updated the host driver files. How do I do this? At present I am connected to a PC running Hyperterminal. Later I will wish to run the CC3000 from my MCU (MSP430F2132 or similar). For now where do I put the files that come with the host driver update? They are all .c and .h files.

Thanks for the reply, but how would I use this when I have an embedded MCU?

Hi Peter,

I'm not sure if I understand your issue, but the *.c and *.h files should be compiled using IAR or CCS, and then downloaded to the device.

You have complete workspace examples in our sdk for several platforms.
