How to get more information from scanning in CC3000

Can you please explain more about 'Channel Index'?  A small example would also help.

Everything that you read from Wifi module has to be over SPI.

You can work with the existing CC3000 device for scanning.

Sure. What I want for scanning results are like this:

channel:1

Number of APs remained: 10 (reduce by 1 each time)

SSID:S

BSSID:B

RSSI:-60

isValid:1

These are useful info I need. You offer most of them, but, with some flaws. (Maybe because I did some wrong settings).

For number of APs remained, I think it should give me the total AP number available instead of total SSID number.

Some SSID has more than one AP.

For isValid, I don't know when it is not valid, seems to me that it is always valid even the value is old. I think it should be like this: If the value is not returned after last scanning, isValid is 1. If it has been returned, then isValid is 0.

How can I see the code inside the wifi module? Is that possible?

Hi Zheng,

Currently we do not support indexing by Channel. We also do not support getting the results based on MAC Address. But for your usecase you can try filtering based on BSSID.

You cannot see the code inside the wifi module. You can only flash the patch programmer onto the CC3000 wifi module.

That one I know. Problem is that I want to get more data instead of filtering any. I want something like this: under one SSID I can see all the MAC ADDRESS/ACCESS POINTS
