MSP430G2 + CC3000 Problem!!!

Greetings. My problem is:

When I open new session on PuTTY (terminal), I press S1 button on the Launchpad (MSP430G2) and PuTTY displays:

Example App:driver version 2.13.7.13

But, when I type 01 command for smart configuration, terminal is hang forever. Same performance when i type 02, 03 or any other command on PuTTY

Can sombody help me? please :(

Hi,

If you are just typing "01", then you would have to initiate the Smartconfig procedure as mentioned in the below link.

Did you try this?

When you type in "02" please make sure that 02 is followed by the SSID length and SSID of the AP. And 03 would not work without successful completion of the command"02<len><SSID>" . Please refer to the below link for more details:

I am not familiar with app version numbers beside patch version number, but is

2.13.7.13

an up-to-date app version?

No, the latest is still with the platform version 1. May be the source code was changed here before running it.

Greetings.

I tried to do the same procedure with a different CC3000 device, but the results are the same.

01 command is Smart Config through Hiperterminal. Smart Config app for Android does not work, then my conclusion is:

The problem is my access Point, or some configuration on my router ó_ò

Hi,

Can you please try with a different phone? This phone may be transmitting packet in MIMO and hence CC3000 is unable to connect to the AP.

I apologize for all this mess, I was making a mistake in the Smart Config Procedure: I entered a 01 command in the Hiperterminal without activating the SmartConfig app at the same time.

Now, it's working perfectly. Thank you so much.
