CC3000 Timeout issue

Hi Naveen,

Along with SP1.24, did you also migrate to the latest Host driver v1.11.1? What was the patch programmer version that you have used, and can you please point me to what procedure you have followed for upgrade?

Hi,

I updated Sp1.24 using https://github.com/cmagagna/CC3000Patch , I followed update instructions. Update process went well I also verified option 0 after upgrade.

Now i am trying with Adafruit library to test sample application.

Today I tried with https://github.com/cmagagna/ArduinoCC3000 application.

when tried to connect using Manual connect to AP  option. I got error

CC3000 Async event: Unsolicted disconnect.

any help in this regard

That's my code but I haven't worked on it for quite some time. As soon as Adafruit released their library I stopped maintaining mine since (A) they have more resources and (B) I'm trying to spend as little time with the CC3000 as possible until TI cleans up their act, or releases a new module without the bugs, whichever comes first.

Back to your original problem -- 'async event - unsolicited disconnect' isn't really an error, it's just an informational message. Do other parts work, e.g. initializing the library?

Hi Chris,

  I just saw your msg. I have a similar problem- I upgraded using your patch. The other parts work -ie it can initialize, see the ssid, the MAC accress etc. But when I try to run:

cc3000.connectToAP(WLAN_SSID, WLAN_PASS, WLAN_SECURITY)

It just sits there(no response ether success or failure). 

  I've tested the code with another cc3000 from adafruit and it works fine.
