Can't get the new patch programmer to work (1.12 with MSP-EXP430FR5739)

Hi Dorse,

The final indication to know if the patch programmer has completely flashed, is to check LED5 and LED 8 on MSP430FR5739. Both these LEDs should be On.

Thanks for your reply. None of the numbered LEDS are on. The binary flasher that comes int he patch programmer says that the MSP was flashed correctly but still I cannot program the CC3000 EM. I have another board, a TIVA Launchpad with the older 1.11 patch programmer and I am able to patch correctly the CC3000. But not with the FRAM board using the new 1.12 patch programmer.

I can confirm, that the Service Pack 1.12 does work without a hitch on MSP-EXP430FR5739.

You might want to see my previous post http://e2e.ti.com/support/low_power_rf/f/851/p/334212/1171371.aspx#1171371 for Patch Programmer that sends its status byte-by-byte (in ASCII) over the debug line out for easier detection where it might hang.

Hi Dorse,

You can also confirm the result of this patch programming by reading the SP version using the API 'nvmem_read_sp_version'. Just check if you get the right SP version.
