cc3000 Basic Wi-Fi application

Hi,

I have a (cc3000EM + EM adapter) mounted on to a msp430g2553. I ran the patch programmer and the red and green LEDs of the MCU light up. But while running the basic wi-fi application the program seems to be looping on the line initdriver().

After finishing the function ReadWlanPin(), and a green LED lights up,the debugger crashes. If I run the program without the line by line debugging,the program loops pn the line initdriver()(which I have mentioned above).

Any solutions?

Hi Raven,

Did you flash both the driver and the firmware patches? In the initDriver are you requesting the CC3000 to start with patches?

Hi Raghav,

The Wi-Fi appplication seems to be running successfully now but there is no output to the Hyperterminal. But I get no app driver version number displayed in the hyperterminal The MCU seems to be responding to the Hyperterminal commands(example 01 does start the smartconfig(saw it working through the debugger). What could be the problem?

The app driver version is visible. I had forgotten to scroll up.
