Hi group,

We are using linux 3.0.35 on a imx6 cpu, with the standard kernel driver for the wl1271 (TiWi-BLE), firmware loaded is 6.1.5.50.74, wifi set as client and connect on a N router.

When we transfer big files by ftp for instance, after 1 or 2GB transfer, wifi disconnect and in the log there is a:

wl1271: No ack to nullfunc from AP.

and all connections drop and FTP stop.

It seems to be a power saving mode problem, there is no option to turn it off on the router, how can I turn it off in the driver?

Hi,

Please try:
iw wlan0 set power_save on

and see if it helps.

Unfortunately we are using Android (4.2.2) and do not have any iw / iwconfig utility :-/

Hi Frederic,

Do you have the debugfs mounted?
Can you try:

echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy1/wlcore/forced_ps

Hi Gigi,

I commented out the "IEEE80211_HW_SUPPORT_PS" in the wl12xx/main.c in the init function and I do not have the problem anymore.

Thanks for the debug path, yes I have it mounted, I will take a look!
