I am currently using a design that uses the CC3000 with a Stellaris Cortex M3. I know that the pin outs are different between the CC3000 and the WL1831MOD but I would like to add BLE to my board. My question has to do with how easy my code will support changing in the WL1831MOD, obviously the layout will have to change. If I were to drop in the WL1831MOD would the SDIO and UART interfaces work the same (using the same commands minus new Bluetooth commands)? I did notice that the WL1831MOD also supports SmartConfig so I would imagine that works the same way.
