TNETW1350A docu?

Hello TI engineers,

I am wondering whether TI would be now willing to release the documentation and/or the reference Linux driver implementation for the TNETW1350A chip?

This has been rejected so far, because the chip is meant only for OEMs. But it's now quite old, and the OEMs don't maintain products based on it any more. This makes after-market maintenance by 3rd parties more relevant, in particular by the OpenWRT project. Is TI willing to support such efforts?

Thanks

  • Hi,

This doesn't look like a WiLink based device.
This forum is meant for WiLink6/7/8 family of devices...

    Regards,
    Gigi Joseph.

  • Correct, but there is no dedicated (public) forum for this chip (for obvious reasons).

As the chip is reported to be "something between TNETW1130 and WL18*", this forum seemed the best fit - there doesn't appear to be a "Generic Wireless" forum, and "/etc" seemed just a bit *too* generic.

I very much hope that somebody knowledgable at TI picks this up (and moves it to a better place if deemed appropriate).
