IPv6 support? Getting/Sending raw packets?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200, CC3100

Is there built-in support for IPv6 with CC3100 and CC3200? I have not seen IPv4 or IPv6 mentioned explicitly in overview pages of these new chips.

I think I saw somewhere "raw" support for them, can it be done with this mode? Or is "raw" already above IPv4?

There was just yesterday an article which tells, that no more IPv4 addresses are left in US:

http://www.fierceenterprisecommunications.com/story/microsoft-no-more-us-ipv4-addresses-left-azure-users/2014-06-16

so if new chip does not support IPv6, is it a good thing, to start new product which only supports IPv4?

Ok, of course, you can use IPv4 in LAN and router/gateway replaces this with an IPv6 address and media also reported various times that IPv4 addresses are out...
