CC3000 Basic Wifi Application

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430G2553

Hello,

I am new to the CC3000 platform. I am using Launchpad MSP430G2553 with CC3000 boosterpack.

I am trying to run the Basic Wifi Application from the CC3000 SDK.

I have followed the instructions listed in:

http://www.ti.com/lit/ml/slab067/slab067.pdf

1) Run the Patch Programmer for Driver and Firmware update on CC3000

2) Download the Wifi Application

(both for MSP430G2553)

When I launch my Serial Putty Session (with all okay parameters) after reset  I see on Putty Serial Terminal:

Example App:driver version 2.13.7.15

However, when I type 03 and enter, I do not see a ``DONE'' output, and the device seems to be stuck.

If I  reset,

I again see

Example App:driver version 2.13.7.15

If I now type 0 and enter, I get

Illegal command

DONE

What's happening? Why don't I get a DONE when I type 03. None of the legal commands, 01,03... seems to get any DONE signal.

Please help.

Vishal.
