TCP Throughput is really 12Mbps for CC3200?

I run the example "CC32xx TCP Socket Application" with iperf, the Send and Receive Speed only 1Mbps~1.5Mbps, much less than 12Mbps in the literature. I have tested the PC to PC with iperf in the same wifi enviroment, the Speed can reach 12Mbps~15Mbps. So the TCP Throughput is really 12Mbps for CC3200?

Hi Wang,

1-1.5 Mbps is too low. WIll need more infromation to understand the problem. Can you help us with below

1) Network Logs (Wireshark,pcap). Need to check if lower throughput is due to re transmission

2) Can you change buffer size to 1460. Also I assume you have increased the number of packets to a large value

I take LP board as AP, and connect PC to the board, the throughout is 4.5Mbps from PC to LP board, and 7.5Mbps from LP board to PC, it's enough for my application. I found the throughout is much better when the LP board is directly connecting to PC than when LP board is connecting to PC with via another AP.
