I would just like to confirm the problem with the part number.  A search on the Epson website gives no results and the PDF which I downloaded gives specific a Product name format which Q24FA20H00396 doesn't fit in any way whatsoever.  So, yeah, why would we want to save some other guy a few hours of frustration by disambiguating the part number, he is after all no doubt developing the same bit of kit as ourselves.
